Rebecca qualified as a midwife in 2001 and worked for the NHS in London for 5 years. She specialised in teaching and mentoring students in both academic and clinical settings and completed a PGCE in adult education while continuing to practice at the Queen Elizabeth Healthcare Trust in Woolwich.
Rebecca developed an interest in alternative health and in 2007 left midwifery to train as a shiatsu practitioner at the Heart of England Shiatsu School in Warwick. She now runs her own independent shiatsu practice in Bristol, specialising in pregnancy and birth support. She continues to develop her CV, currently looking to commence research on the management of trauma in the workplace (focusing on midwifery and obstetric provision within the NHS).
Rebecca joined PSP as office manager in May 2012 and is keen to further the interests of all complementary health practitioners in the ever changing world of health care provision.
Rebecca's working hours are 9am to 1pm, Monday to Thursday. Calls at other times are handled by our answering service and forwarded directly to a duty professional.
