Please refer to the following guidelines when leaving information or requesting a service:
- PSP does NOT provide an emergency service for people seeking urgent psychological support. If you are seeking urgent support for yourself or for someone else because of concerns about risk of harm due to psychological distress, please contact your General Practitioner or go directly to an Accident and Emergency unit. Both should be able to access 24-hour on-call psychiatric support.
- It is not possible to guarantee the security of internet communications, so if you are sending details about an actual case please make sure that no identifying information is included. PSP does not currently offer an encrypted email service and cannot be held responsible for intercepted communications.
- Although PSP can call on a wide range of expertise within the Bristol and South West area, we cannot guarantee to provide a service for every enquiry. Where we do not feel that we can provide a service ourselves we will endeavour to recommend another local service or information source that could meet your needs.
- PSP aims to respond to your enquiry within 24 hours, Monday to Friday.
