Training ¶

PSP provides high quality training on mental health issues and therapeutic approaches. Over the past year, PSP professionals have delivered teaching and training on:

Consultation and Supervision ¶

PSP also offers consultation and supervision to professionals working with young people. Consultation allows professionals to share their clinical dilemmas and to gain ideas about how their work can move forward to the maximum benefit of their clients.

Supervision provides a regular supportive structure that also allows professionals to discuss the details of their work. It also provides a space in which to think about the impact that therapeutic work has on the professionals themselves, and about how their own histories and values may affect their responses to clients.

---RECENT CONSULTATION----

May 2008: PSP undertook a review of The High Dependency Unit (HDU) at The Manor Primary School in Wiltshire. The HDU is a highly specialist provision for up to 4 children with autistic spectrum disorders whose mainstream school placement has broken down.
