Mark Webster is a UKCP registered psychotherapist and has worked in both the NHS and private practice. He is the chair of the ACT Special Interest Group for the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy (BABCP). After qualifying in Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT) and working in the field of addictions he went on to specialise in personality disorders and trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and later in ACT. He has been using ACT in private practice for the last seven years and he has been running ACT workshops in the UK for the last 3 years. Mark has been a practicing Buddhist for over 15 years and has a longstanding interest in mindfulness.
Helen Bolderston worked for many years as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist in the NHS. She is currently engaged in research, as well as providing training and supervision. She has a particular interest in acceptance-based approaches, including mindfulness as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. She uses her own mindfulness practice, training and guided retreats to develop her skills as a mindfulness teacher. She runs both brief mindfulness workshops and eight-week mindfulness courses.
Dr Simon Dymond is a senior lecturer at Swansea University and with over 40 published articles he is one of the UK’s most prominent and productive researchers into Relational Frame Theory. Simon received his Ph.D. from University College Cork, held positions at the University of Wales, Bangor, and at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, before becoming a Lecturer at Swansea in 2005. Simon was elected International Representative of the Association for Behaviour Analysis in 2005, and serves on the Executive Council, and Board of Directors of the Society for the Advancement of Behaviour Analysis.
